Following the country’s move to a uniform Level 0 the latest Covid-19 Tennis Scotland guidance has been updated and can be found here.
Tennis Scotland has also advised that the Saturday social tennis sessions do not need to be supervised. However, bookings should continue to be made online in order to comply with Test and Protect, giving the Club information on those attending the session.
The Committee is advising – given no supervision is required – that members attending should organise playing partners / switchrounds.
In Level 0 there is no restriction to the numbers socialising before play or in any session. There is also no rule to physically distance before, during or after play although hand hygiene and common sense remain essential. Hands should not be used to pick up balls.
Masks should continue to be worn in the clubhouse.
With most restrictions due to end on August 9, we will issue an update in due course.
Can we also remind members to CANCEL court bookings if you are unable to play – this gives fellow members the opportunity to play instead of courts lying unused when demand is high.
