Update on our court booking system
Online booking update – Clubsparks
We hope everyone is continuing to enjoy being back on court and got into the ‘swing’ of things. We thank you for your continued support and following the guidelines issued.
On review of the bookings on Clubspark we are now reverting to previous opening hours (8am to 10pm) and booking rules during off peak times. The last bookable court time will be 9pm and all members should be finished no later than 10pm. The floodlights are not in use at present so this will be light dependent until we are allowed to open the clubhouse and provide access to the floodlight controls.
Members can now make 7 bookings per week, but still limited to a maximum of 7 days in advance. Each booking will still be for 50 minutes to allow a 10-minute gap for players to arrive and leave. This is a sensible precaution we urge everyone to maintain.
During peak times we continue to strongly discourage members to get their ‘opponent’ to book a second, consecutive slot, in fairness to fellow members seeking to play. Peak times are Monday – Friday 6pm to 9pm and all-day Saturday.
This is a system we believe to be fair and, once again, your co-operation is vital.
Players still cannot turn up to book a court or take an empty court under the official guidelines to which we are adhering. Only members who are arriving to or have just honoured a booking should be on the club grounds.
Only singles can be played – although doubles are allowed if players on the same side are from the same household.
Keep safe and keep enjoying your tennis! 🎾
